I felt so dumb..

I hurt my joint weeks ago .. without knowing how i hurt it.
My left leg could not be straighten without some "help" and it got worst if i'm wearing flats or slippers.
And i've to rely on heels to cushion the pain. chui~

And because of the recent cold weather.
I was feeling breathless for the past few days ...
It was so bad with those chest pains and semi-conscious state of mind. It was to a point i found myself lying on the floor with pain all over.

50 hours of hibernation was granted.
It was such a comforting period to nest like theres no tmr.
And thank god theres no rain during the 50 hours. or maybe. i wasnt aware of it. (:

It was somehow great to close links to the outsiders for a couple of days.
I felt so peaceful.
And ...

Chubby.. im pretty sure I'm not gonna run away again (:

It was a perfect dinner with Alice and Mat ! (:
I admit i was aiming their desserts right from the start :X
Their buffet spread was quite normal to me. as it doesnt wow me that much as "The Line" at Shangri-La ..
But yesh.. their dessert station..
Is sweet sweet and more SWEETNESS (:

Especially the durian paste... OMGNESS. it is freshly PURE. and yummilious spoon licking. haha!
Thats the must try! if u are a durian addict.

Yes, we have monthly farewell ..
People might have noticed the monthly upload of farewell pictures in Facebook..

And this time round? "Graduation" of my MAO MAO. haha. one of the cats i recruited in Broadway.

Yeah. Farewells and Birthdays are our monthly affair .. it was so frequent that we had a hard time suggesting where to eat .. lol.

And since cats eat FISH FISH!.
we decided on the Fishhead Steamboat just opposit our building .. Nan Hua Chang (:
haha! that was the restaurant we keep talking about for months since he joined the Accounts department.

We are so busy busy eating .. that we forgot to take pictures of our spread ! HAHA..
I've always enjoyed their company.. they are the reasons why i've stay in BW for so long..

The soup was FANTASTIC (: i think we finished a few rounds of refills and LOADS OF FISH FISH!! (:

This makes me really excited (: HAHA!

We no longer find excuses/reasons to feast ..
Because we simply feel like feasting out ...

This was the much anticipated makan session with UOM Food Mates ..
We have to decide on Charcoal or Carnivore .. EQUALLY SINFUL :X

Charcoal offers the freshest beef around .. including my favourite BEEF TONGUE !!! (:
The salmon , ribeye. pork loin, scallop, lamb steak + + that makes me go yum yum yum~!
I was so engrosed that i let the rest do the chit-chatting. haha!
And i think i emerged the champion. "the last one standing!" lol~
The disappointing part? probably the dessert section.. they only offers cups icecream. when i was hoping for my fav MOCHI..

But overall.. i will definitely visit CHARCOAL again.. (:
Given the good service and the awesome food they offer. $37 night buffet (sunday) after 15% standard chart. discount.

I suppose everyone visit st james for chiong-ing session that they missed such a fabulous japanese restaurant.
CHARCOAL is just behind Dragonfly ..

It was the last day of my holiday and i was kinda exhausted to feel for Sisters Keeper and Billy Bombers.
haha! But yesh. Thanks chubby for the movie and dinner (:

I think New York New York offers better satisfying ribs than Kenny Rogers, Billy, etc.
Personally, i feel the sauce is not "strong/thick" enough to devour me.. lol.
Due to the great influence from Daddy.. I hearts Meaty RIBS (:

i thought i could move on to the green pastures awaiting me.

i was so stucked with my essay and thus decided to do some updates.
but livejournal just hang me up when i couldnt load anymore pictures after the boo boo cake ):

well. besides all the food notes.outings.celebrations and dinners.
my life has been quite a roller coaster ride. esp personal matters/relationships ):

some people advised that i should stop thinking about it and just carry on with my life, as studies and career are in the priority list.
And also.. the problems surfaced have snowballed .. and became too complicated to analyze and resolve.

I wish i could just leave everything.. and just carry on with my life.
being too accomodating eventually leads to disasters..
chui to max~!

When you are suddenly the centre of attention.
There will be 3 groups of people.
People who are envious.
People who feel threatened.
and people getting hurt.

Sometimes it got so bad that i wanna sleep whole day.. and i might wake up to a solution to all those problems/situations.
Its so tough and difficult. And it is terribly damaging my brain and heart.

I gonna get out of this maze soon.

Because ive to proof the existence of booboocake.
Ive not eaten that since the breakup. lol.

however..

The affection started many years ago. . . at holland village..
The richy choco taste that save me from depression, makes people fall in love and so on..
It was to the extent..that i've a contact saved as "boo boo cake" (:
i love the name of the cake.
i love the person who introduced this cake.
and i love the person whose name was stored as booboocake in my mobile (:

Because everything about the cake is perfect. *simple yet so stunning nice*
the sugary sweet cream.the richy heavenly chocolate.. this is one of the best cakes from NYDC.

Actually ive always blog abot this cake back in my previous blog.
Please do have a slice if u happen to dine at NYDC!
believe me. u will fall in love with that (:

The Boyfriend Effect!

Alright.. some might have read about the boyfriend effect in Cleo (Nov issue).

I was reading it several weeks back with eugene. hahaha! yesh. we are too bored in class i tell you.
This issue has been going round my mind since then.. until .. i wanna blog about it..
As i've actually heard about those stories of avg girls getting loads of attention from guys..
and thus sets me thinking.. hmmm.. mayb.. the boyfriend effect really works!

So whats about the boyfriend effect?
want unlimited male attention? Just act like you have a boyfriend!
Simple as that! and i'm kinda surprised about this statement..
Because.. it works quite oppositely for me~

This "man shower" has nth to do with luck.
It says that ... its because the moment a girl becomes unavailable, she becomes more desirable.
THAT IS CRUEL. THAT IS PATHETIC.
AND THAT IS THE BOYFRIEND EFFECT!

But i must agree that a girl's best asset is CONFIDENCE.
i dun believe in really sexy hot bods. hahaha! thats because i love food too much..
And these days.. i received comments from guys that they haven seen ladies whom possesed those "FOOD VIBES" so much.
Seriously.. I felt so embarasssed about myself.

Back on track.
i guess BFE works on the majority? Thats why they always say avg looking ladies(well groomed) gets the big share of attention.
They dont need to be super gorgeous, standing above 1.7m, wealthy, sexy, graduated with a MBA..etc.. (Because these are the minority) lol.
But! in my opinion..

-Appearances still matter!
Men are visual creatures after all.
But dont needa be drop dead gorgeous to get noticed. I think being well-groomed and presentable fits the bill (:

-Smileys
Ive heard of so many guys falling in ladies' signature smile! hahaha!
And the smile from within is the prettiest (:

-The first move
Because i realise. GUYS LOVE LADIES WHO MADE THE 1ST MOVE. lol.
and know what! ladies sometimes dont really differentiate that as much. MAYB FOR MY CASE.
I won't think so much of the results/consequences of asking guys out.
HECK. this is 21st century (:

-Confidence
Ladies who are relaxed, being herself.. sometime are the sexiest!
(thats what ive heard from some guys)

BUT BUT!
I'm not sure of guys falling in witty and humorous girls.
i guess humor always win hearts around .. it always works for guys.

And on the last note.

What makes me drunk..

Red wine.. white wine.. beer.. volka.. hennessy.. black label.. chivas..etc.
haven't succedded in making me drunk.

BUT Mutton Soup & ZZT did ! (: (i was really feeling worst than drinking of the above)

I actually did felt drowsy after drinking some mutton soup last sunday.
It was so bad that i just lay at my nest.. and "died" hahah! until a msg literally woke me up :x

But. serious stuff!
The mutton soup with the little bread is just so stunning ! @.@
The Frangrany.thicky.slurpy soup.. u go "ARHHHH" after drinking the last bit (:

& So whats so great about ZZT??

And for those wondering whats ZZT about..
Its 猪什汤! the famous shop along Lavender (:

together with the 猪脚 *FLOAT*
HAHAHA. i was there with loklok yesterday. lol.
we both got so excited that we forgot to take some pictures of the spread we ordered.
Theres the soup! the pig trotters! braised chicken! and the very salty meat!
很好吃! (:
and loklok was there "drinking" chili together with the food. yesh the chili kinda SHIOK (:

and..

I started walking ZIG-ZAGY after the dinner. i was like "drunk" after the feast.
hahaha.. i rate it poision level 8 out of 10 (:

I know i know. I've like crossed over to the male-region.
Its very rare and seldom for ladies to go GA-GA over such meaty stuff like BKT , 猪脚, etc.
all the MEAT , MEAT AND MORE MEAT!
maybe.. its those hormones 在做怪。。

Someday...

I felt so chui when i returned back to work yesterday.
Firstly, I've to pack my belongings, my desk, just everything! by saturday
Not because I was sacked.. its because.. theres some changes to the office layout and I'm affected ):

And it just too awkward to see my dad do the wiring in the office.. LOL.

2ndly, the massive schedule changed! ):
there are like 5 changes to it over the next 10 days. and most of the event/appt clashed~
And i felt terribly sorry to those..
whose appt got postponed for a couple of times.

and back to back.
decided not to brood over my ICTC exam. i think its really chui~!
damn. i must work doubly hard for my next 5 modules. its gonna be CHIONG mode (:

Hello 6 days of holidays! (:

Im pretty elated when wj was back in town for a couple of days. It was like so sudden and random.
"hey im coming home tonight" lol.
and he somehow enlighted me with all his brand new theories .. thanks! (:

I will be back for more updates. promise (:
more food! more outings! and everything!

and on a happier note.
i've decided that i should make a choice by the end of this year.
as what explained to loklok hrs ago..
"i shouldnt delay the stuffs and gotta fix it soon. Ive been making too many u-turns and wrong directions"
and to add on. i shouldnt be blaming myself anymore.
life is tough and these decisions must be made. *its just the matter of time.

and.. i'm pretty determined !
